...is just such easy work. Especially when the word you're spreading is Firefly. I know, I know...how has everyone in the verse not seen this show?!? Well, in the month of August I astounded two friends and one acquaintance by introducing them to the greatness of Firefly...and was then berated over the fact that there are only 14 episodes. I then directed them to the Fox network site and told them to have at it.
One of the friends was dead set against watching. He hates science fiction, he hates westerns, he even hates Buffy (theatrical gasp). But after his mandatory weekend Firefly binge he went nuts. He refuses to return my DVD set and I may have to get violent ;)
But that's what Firefly does, it spins you around, knocks you over, picks you back up, puts a brown coat on you and kicks your butt out the door to weave your way through the greatest fandom on any rock.
Also super excited to hear back about beta testing the Firefly online game. Crossing all appendages :)
