Off all the places...

...in the world that I feel like I might fit, I don't think it ever occurred to me that my perfect place was a fan site.

I'm usually a bit of a lurker. A propensity for shyness in life translates into the anxious hovering of a mouse pointer over a link. Should I post a blog? I've never done something like that...do I have anything to say...anything that anyone else would want to hear?

Not usually.

But then perhaps I just wasn't talking to the right people. The world is so much more connected today than when I was a teenager, and because of that there's opportunity to share the love and loyalty I have for Firefly, Joss, the cast, and the fan community, with people who won't stare blankly at my sweatshirt wondering why it depicts a spaceship inside a jar.

Thank you for being so welcoming, and I looked forward to making some new friends.
