I recently graduated from college at Michigan State University. I live in Michigan right between Flint and Lansing. I am a lab technician with some aspiration for writing.
I am a hard-core BtVS and Angel fan. Both shows do a brilliant job of taking traditional formulas and putting new and fun spins on them. "Once More With Feeling" was an epitome of that approach -- with the movie musical. I have a strong feeling that Firefly is going to accomplish the same thing its own way -- with western and space adventure themes.
I am really looking forward to seeing this exciting new show, and I hope it becomes a big success.
New Stuff:
I wrote the last two paragraphs long before Fox insulted me by calling our amazing show a failure.
I have now developed this unfortunate habit of saying "shiny" -- seemingly unbreakable. Someone needs to stop me.
