Chinese Symbol for Prosperity

Can anyone confirm for me that this is the character for prosperity? Lu, I believe it's called....
I need the info for a fic I'm working on.

Well, I had a Chinese student today draw the character out for me. It looks much like what's posted above, but not quite.

The word is actually the colour green.
It is pronouce as Lu ...
If you are looking for Prosperity ... you will have to look for the word "Fu" pronounce in mandarin.
