Does anyone think that it was portrayed wrong? Isn't the religion Wicca all about loving nature or something?

Willow mentions in Choices how she's going to become a 'bad ass wicca' and Tara in Hush (I think) says that the girls in the college wicca group 'didn't know what they were talking about' (because they didn't do spells).

Is 'wicca' also a term for people who try and 'cast spells', etc? Or is Buffy missing the point of what it's really all about? Can someone give me some insight?

according to Webster the term wicca is just Old English for wizard (or witch)...
Willow didn't join any new religions (I think she remains a Jew) she merely learned to develop magical abilities and became a witch.
