I would love if Eliza Dushku (Faith) gets her own show. It'll be perfect, Faith the vampire slayer. But instead of being at Sunnydale, she should be at Boston, which happens to be Eliza's hometown.
It could be about her, how she's coping with the real world, since she's been in jail and dealing with her past. Which was not really focused on before.
I would love it to happen, but I don't think Joss Whedon would do it. Faith will probably be killed off in Buffy season 7 finale i would think.

Not necessarily Boston, but I do agree that Faith belongs in some gritty urban setting. She was always out of place in Sunnydale. Which actually made sense when she was playing Buffy's rival, but it won't work if she becomes the central character.
Interesting to speculate how they plan to write Faith back into the story. Right now she's in prison, more or less voluntarily, doing penance for her sins. Perhaps the Powers-that-Be will come to her and say, "Enough already. We need you out there fighting evil!"
JOSS, WHERE'S MY CHECK???!!!

Zicsoft, you're right you know, how are they gonna write her back in ?
I mean she killed someone, sure she volunteered to go into jail... But how is she released ? What really bugged me was that we, the viewers never saw her in court, never found out how long she's gonna be in there. I persumed she got life, but maybe her lawyer claimed she was temporary insane, and got it reduced. Maybe

Quote:Here's a fantasy I had back when Spike was still Evil. He gets busted, thrown in the same cell as Faith. Guy comes in, tells them they're gonna get released on parole if they agree to undertake certain "special projects". He'll be their parole officer. He's not human, of course.

What about this: On Buffy tvs
Faith is in her cell asleep, when 2 cloaked slayer killers come to get her, but she puts up a great fight, and wins the fight. She questions the 2 slayer killers, gets the info and plans to travel back to SunnyD and tell Buffy. All she need to do is escape from prison...
The big bad of this season could be that thing in that season 3 episode (Christmas, the snow), Evil itself (the thing that changed into Jenny Calender) I mean if it could into her, it could change into anything.

Thought of that too. I think it was called the First... as in "Evil." The problem with that theory is that the First has to be summoned by the harbingers. We've seen no such intication of their presnece... unless they are the hooded ones killing the Slayers-in-waiting.

-----------
In the Dark Ages, Romano-Celtic Britannia was over-run by Viking-like cultures collectively called the Anglo-Saxons. They were led by warlords called Drytinns, and the greatest warriors among them were the Thegns.

Only the last couple of eps. "From beneath you, it devours..." -- "There's more of them out there, and thery're going to die."
I, for one, consider the First a suspect, but not a likely one.
