Details of the custom 3-D printed model of Serenity from the television series "Firefly" I built during Spring/Summer 2020. The build included an Arduino Nano 33 BLE microcontroller, driving both visual (LED) and audio (MP3) animation sequences, as well as microservos to rotate Serenity's nacelle turbine engine pods as shown in the series.

The build was based off of STL files purchased from:

but most parts were highly modified in order to accommodate the additional hardware and electrical.

The onboard MP3 system includes sound clips from the show (as well as the subsequent motion picture), and those obviously remain the property of all the respective copyright holders.
