Well, you know that in order for the USA/NATO to be nakedly involved in Ukraine (as opposed to hiding behind sock puppet Zelenskiy) there would have to be a false flag.

The Russian Defense Ministry issued a statement saying it has not taken part in "strikes against targets near the Ukrainian-Polish border" using "Russian weapons" - as is being alleged by Polish sources. The Russian statement further said it's Warsaw's attempt to escalate the situation. The Pentagon has meanwhile said it can't corroborate the reports at this early stage but is gathering more information. A Pentagon spokesman vowed the US stands ready to "defend every inch of NATO territory."

Meanwhile, in the never-ending struggle between the Pentagon (which has SOME idea of what's winnable and what isn't) and the neocons (who believe that belief is enough for ... anything) the results of the election appear to have tipped policy away from negotiations (advocated by Milley) in favor of the neocons:

It occurred to me that if the USA really needed to send massive amounts of heavy weapons, they would probably have to convoy them in our aging fleet. Against all those hypersonic anti-ship missiles...
