4 20 throws me off a bit.

2 days ago, 18 April, was the 42nd anniversary of marijuana possession being legalized in Madison, WI. Since 1977, Ordinance 23.20.

There's no significance to the date, as far as I remember.

I don't know if anybody clearly knows where 4:20 came from. I think it's one of those "old wive's tales" that everybody has their own supposed insider knowledge about.

I think I heard that it originally was the time of day after school which some kids would meet and smoke up. Who knows.
