Sorry for the late report. I thought there might have already been a thread on this show since it aired on Showcase in Canada beginning last May. The pilot episode starts tonight at 8pm Eastern/7 Central on Syfy, to be repeated at 11pm/10c, plus ten other times throughout the week.

I've seen all ten episodes and recommend it. Not great, but it's pretty good, solid story and decent acting, especially Rachel Nichols (The Inside, Alias).

I had also heard it recommended as being pretty good, which is saying a LOT these days...

I've seen all ten episodes too. I like it. It's better than average sci-fi and the central premise offers the viewer a genuine ethical dilemma. Like all great sci-fi there is a mirror to present day anxieties and this I think elevate it above it's counterpart.

Rachel Nichols (the green alien from Start Trek) does carry the show , but as things progress a few of the other characters develop well too and their actions to the narrative relate to their character.

Also there are some nifty sci-fi contrivances along the way that lift the overall concept.

°...Well here I am.°

Rebels escape execution by fleeing from the year 2077 to Vancouver in 2012. Rachel Nichols, playing a future Vancouver law enforcement officer in a bulletproof suit with color-changing camouflage for invisibility, is involuntarily transported with them. Further complications ensue involving family left behind and evil corporations controlling the future. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Continuum_%28TV_series%29

It looks like it is worth checking out, it should be better then "Warehouse 13" which is stupid and should be canceled.

I also saw the original Canadian run last year and was impressed. They have lower budgets up there but they put up some great FX. Good writing. Acting not outstanding but got the job done. Looking forward to season 2, which airs later this year up north.

I like Warehouse13, and think YOU'RE stupid and should be cancelled!

As for Continuum, I checked it out last night, having missed it on Monday, and it was decent. Has some good actors in it, namely the Smoking Man from The X Files ( who is looking really old now ), but also some others.

Finally got to see Season 1 thanks to Netflix.
I enjoyed it quite a bit. Can't wait for Season 2 to start up in the US.

Can't wait for Warehouse 13 to come back, too.

It is coming back, right?

It started last week on Showcase, with Episode 2 due tonight. It won't be on Syfy until Friday, June 7 at 10pm following wrestling.
