Got Continuum from my Public Library. I think I'm about half way through the second season.
Noticed the Cigarette Man, plus Tahmoh (sp?) who is one of Joss's favorites.

I can see why Eric was required to send them back in time, but I don't think I have seen why Kiera was selected to come also - or could she have been anybody? If it's not too spoilerish, does anybody know yet why she is the one to come back with them?

It has not be definitively established, and we might not ever know since it looks like a Season 4 won't happen, but there was a connection between Older Alec and Kiera's husband. In the pilot episode, it sure looked like Old Alec was pleased when Kiera was caught up in the time bubble along with the Liber8 prisoners.

I thought he was just pleased that the time travel worked, that his life's work was accomplished, and thus his life could exist. I didn't notice any particular reaction to Keira jumping in - how could he control that?
Are you saying Kiera's husband was working towards getting her out of the picture? He sure seems creepy to me. Did he make some deal with old Alec, other than working for him?

Kiera's husband did work for Alec, and I think he had assumed there was an agreement that Kiera would not be assigned to the execution detail, then was very upset when she was. I think Alec made sure she was.

Not yet, although not officially cancelled yet either. Latest word is they are still in negotiations to get a reduced budget.

One thing that kinda ticks me off. This is perhaps the best role Rachel has had, at least one of the best - yet her "people" would not let her consider the role, see the role, let her know about the role. I assume her "people" are her agents, or similar. She had to get the backdoor info from a friend who was with Continuum, and bring it to her "people" and tell them she wanted it, and they tried to talk her out of it. How horrendous can her agents be and still be associated with her?

Wouldn't any of you be ticked off if your agent, or recruiter, or counselor worked very hard to prevent you from making great progress?

Don't know the details, but they might of been trying to keep her options open for feature films.

You know, to take advantage of her GI Joe and Star Trek appearances.

Also noticed striking actress playing Lily Cole, Keira's grandmother.
Katie Findley now playing Rebecca Sutter on How To Get Away With Murder. She still looks about 8-10 years younger than her age.

Really notice lots of good acting on Continuum.

I was wondering, of those who have watched the show:

How did you feel about Keira sleeping with Kellogg? Do you think she no longer trusts her husband? I was under the impression she does, although I do not. Is her desire to get back to her son the driving urge, and the husband is inconvenient, and perhaps untrustworthy?

How did you feel about this? I was disappointed. She's only from 2077, not 2517.
