A toughie, but how many movies have you seen in your lifetime up till today? Including all tv movies(like The Waltons Thanksgiving)made for tv movies(that were beyond huge in the 70's early 80's)
documentaries, etc.
My estimate is roughly 8,000. Man, that is a lot. I blame HBO, and Showtime in the 80's, and the video rental boom of the same decade.

Im not sure I could even guess. Sometimes I watch 1 movie a week, sometimes I watch 2 a day.
Ive rated 2000 movies at Netflix, but that's hardly definitive.

How many have I seen?

Uhhh, all of 'em, I think...
Okay, so maybe 8-10,000 out of the 468,000 that were ever released (I managed a video store in the 90's). That's a VERY crude estimate.

Since I've been in LA, I've gone to see over 2 dozen movies a year au cinema; before that, in TO, less. So, over a thousand & less than a thousand & half I reckon (prolly 'round 1300). I've never owned (or wanted) a VHS player, & for more'n half my life I've had no TV reception, but I started renting movies after LaserDiscs came out, & now I'm on Netflix. I own over a kilodisc, but a lot of 'em are TV series so, maybe 700 titles, most of which I rewatch, some many times (I've worn out 4 sets of Firefly). I rewatch a lot (eg Dark Knight 5 times in 1st run, Incepetion 5&1/2 in first run, plus I think I played my Blu-ray of Inception 1ce); heck, my Christmas list means I don't have time to watch new movies @home in December. Anyway . . . a W(ise)A(ssed)G(uess)? . . . mebbe 3K different titles
I used to think I'd seen a lot of movies, & I suppose it's true, but not so many different titles. I feel like a dilettante compared to the folks above

I only recall watching maybe 39. I don't really watch tv or go to the movie theaters much.

8000! That sounds like a lot of films. But it's probably a decent enough estimation...
When I was about 14 I remember adding up all the films I watched in that year. I included tv movies and repeat viewings too and if my recall is correct I watched 170 films that year.
That was probably my most intense year of watching films, thereafter I'd say the amount has steadily decreased so who knows...3000-4000? maybe...
Really difficult to estimate. It doesn't feel like that much....

I sort of worked in a video store in the 90's. It was a mate's place and I'd hang out there helping out and giving recommendations to the regulars. Quite often I'd cover the store if the drongos he had working for him didn't show up.
As for how many films I'd say I'm in roughly (not crudely) the same ballpark as you but probably nearer the 8,000 area.
There were times in the past when all I watched were movies and the ocassional TV show. These days I watch more TV and I'm pickier about the movies I watch, although it is still a lot.

I might see one movie in the theatres every one or two years, but don't remember them, so I gave myself about an 11 movie estimate since the age of 12. Before then, I pretty much only went to see (and watched) Disney movies, or the classics, such as Star Wars, Back to the Future, Ghostbusters, etc. I also gave some leeway for movies I might have incidentally watched on television, or stupid chick flicks.

Hard to say, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was over 10,000.
First, I'm old. I was around five when we got our first TV, so around 56 years ago. I remember staying up for the late show Friday and Saturday, other movies ran occasionally in the afternoons or summer mornings, and we nearly always saw a matinee at the theater every Saturday. That frequency increased as I got older.
I've also had two different jobs in which I watched movies for a living, first as a video operator with Cablevision in the 70s. We had three of our own movie channels in the days before satellite, before HBO, Showtime, etc. At least twenty movies per week, and I worked there four years. After that I was a film projectionist in various theaters here for around thirteen years (1978-1991).
I was the only person I knew with a VCR for several years. I bought a Betamax in '78 and recorded a lot of stuff off the movie and independent channels, switched to VHS a few years later, also had a LaserDisc player, then DVD, then Blu-Ray. Now I also have Netlix, both streaming and disc by mail.
Way too many movies to count.
