It was slow for the first few episodes after the pilot, but picked up nicely by the end of the first half, then everything since the hiatus has been very good. Episode 14 is finally available, so I assume anyone interested will know how to find it. Definitely could not complain about not enough action in this one.
I still don't understand why SyFy couldn't air the last five eps as planned even if they didn't intend to renew it. The way they've handled it is a slap in the face to not only the fans, but also to Ron Moore and David Eick, Jane Espenson, Drew Z. Greenburg, and all the other writers, actors and crew. I can't imagine that they think reruns of ST: TNG and Hollywood Treasure will bring better ratings.
Agreed, what was up with that? SyFy needs an enema!

The last few episodes of Caprica were getting really good to the point that now I'm sorry for writing all those mean posts in the forums about the show over at SyFy.com. The show started showing promise when it got canceled.

Sad, a blow to Jane Espenson as well. I think the show was stuck in a spin cycle in the middle there where the through story needed to move along. You have to have some momentum to grab the audience.
I also missed the humor from her Buffy days. She has a real talent there. Probably Ron Moore and co. weren't interested.

Agreed. It hit it's stride just as it got cancelled. Which is a shame because it could have last a few seasons. I was starting to really enjoy it even more, but it took too long in developing the characters and their contribution to the overall story.
