I'm about two episodes behind at this point, because EVERY GORRAMN SHOW I WATCH AIRS ON TUESDAY NIGHT.

I'm downloading as fast as I can and I'm still falling behind.

Uh.... not a cause and effect situation there. TSCC died because it was expensive and had low ratings.

Glee is a show that happened to be on the network later. And, as it turned out, was massively successful.
