I like the new opening, as I like the show. The writers need to keep it fresh though. I also like the look that they have created, sort of in between now and Firefly timeline.

Mad Men meets BSG is a good call, but where's Christina :-)

SciFi tends to replace some of the sex with science. That's another area where Firefly was different.
