I bet most id not all of these questions have been asked before but I wanna know.

When Jayne, River, and Simon escaped the hospital's security ward was it significant that they escaped the hands of blue through the door of blue?

Was the comment Mal spoke to Jayne about the next time Jayne chooses to stab him in the back to have the courtesy to do it to his face a foreshadow to future episodes not filmed?
