And here I thought the news was good from 'Black Friday' and all.

Day-um!

It is not those who use the term "Islamo-Fascism" who are sullying the name of Islam; it is the Islamo-Fascists. - Dennis Prager

Has to do with the NBER's report saying we've been in a recession since Dec 2007. (No shit, Sherlock!)

Also has to do with FEARS by the Asian markets that the Thanksgiving shopping weekend in the U.S. wasn't going to be all that great. They were "reacting" before they even heard that things were better than expected, which sparked yet another mini-panic on Wall Street.

The market closed at 4:00, and Chambliss' victory wasn't called until the late evening. These large market fluctuations have been predicted, and are the results of big-monied speculators manipulating the market, just like they did when they artificially ran up oil to $ 140. Wall Street needs a lot of changes and new rules. Stock prices need to go back to basics, and be based on something real, not just a bunch of rich fat-cats bidding it up and down at their whim. What ever have to fundamentals? I'm still waiting for arrests and prosecutions. What is the Justice Dept. waiting for? Little fish like us should avoid the market altogether, because we are all just leaves on the wind in this circus.
