Of course it looks interesting, but why I have the feeling that once we 'see' what is tearing up NYC, we'll be let down?

Personally I think it's going to be some sort of mutated or unknown species of giant isopod. Either from earth or perhaps outer space. I do agree with the point that we will probably be disappointed by the end of the movie. Well here's hoping we aren't!

Oh and back a few months ago when I first heard the silly Voltron rumor I laughed so hard I nearly cried. For one that has to be the geekiest movie rumor I have ever heard and secondly a Voltron movie would do better if it were advertised as one and not as a mysterious monster movie.

Godzilla.

That's my thought.

They figure, "Hey, they made one about King Kong. What about Godzilla?"

It's completely rational.

The movie didn't even get a title until a month ago or so, which makes me very hesitant to even consider seeing it.

It's always been called 'Cloverfield' , for as

long as I've known about it , which is going on

2 years now...But with that cryptic name ,

folk weren't actually sure if that was just

a 'working' title , or it would end up being

called that...Which also helped to create the

'buzz'...Abrams has got 'juevos' , after the

cryptic , viral methodologies didn't quite get

it done for Serenity...Note that this one is

said to cost in the range of 25 megabucks , too .

I don't see it being Godzilla...Similar , maybe ,

just not 'same'.

I wanna make a handheld-filmed W.I.T.C.H. movie. It'll have Lord Cedric as a giant snake-monster, maybe filmed from Martin's perspective. I'll call it "Heatherfield."

It's already been stated by the director that the monster WILL be shown in the movie and they won't pull some crappy move and not show any action. So that's good enough for me.

I caught a showing today. Despite the gimmicky camerawork, I thought the movie was actually really good. It helped that you at least cared about the characters somewhat.

Way back when the ads started coming out, someone suggested to me that maybe it was a movie version of the old Rampage video games. Now video game movies tend to suck big time, but I think if this had actually been a Rampage movie, it would have been awesome.
