is not where i wanted to be as i read the latest ish of the buffy comic.
joss done good - a fabulous script that pulled off the difficult act of tying up lose ends - foreshadowing AND hinging it on a 2-hander character piece.
[remove fan goo here]
we got our willow back finally!:)
the art was a little rushed in places but when it worked (often in the small things - willow's expressions etc) it worked to the full.
and there were sad bits and there were larfs
{continue to fade)

I really loved this issue!
but we didn't mark this thread for spoilers, has everyone picked up their comic?
Select to view spoiler:
I love their taking the time to play games, the 'anywhere but here' game, established in Buffy's first season, really lets us know something about Buffy's & Willow's current fantasies....
and moves us into the issue which is largely about disconnect caused by secrets and lies.
we get some shocking revelations, I know some people were appalled at Buffy's bank heist, but I image Joss was trying to come up with something BIG which would explain the funding, and shock the readers along with Willow....
besides, who really cares about Swiss banks?
I need to reread and digest all of the information in the comic, but I really did think it was something special. Particularly the character 'Robin' who is directly based on one of Buffy's fans in the real world (as you know from reading the letters to the editor)
I hope everyone is still buying and reading these great comics, we didn't get much discussion on the last 'Angel: After the Fall' thread
