This is my current fess up - been (coughs) uh, discussing with a few slayerettes the idea that Amy should've been Willow's ladyfren for season 7 (or now)...
they have a great rapport in Smashed - Amy's jealous freudian spell on willow in S7 (f**kd up a bit by the comix now)
and i mean...
Willow kept the girl for 3 years in a cage and fed her cheese!
Suck on that Wesley "i chained a girl in the closet" Price!

i always loved the amy character and found the actress funny in a real old skool 'bewitched' kinda way.

Not to put a crimp on the idea, because, honestly, it would've been cool if Joss had wrote it in, but...

Kinda the only reason they had such a good connection in Smashed was because they were both, well, smashed (on magic).

And then Amy's little "payback" spell? That kind of put a strain on the relationship. But, at least we wouldn't feel bad for Amy if Willow fsck'd her memory later on.

But, seeing as Joss is big on redemption, it would've been a good, complicated sub-plot.

For a split second there in season six I thought maybe, just maybe they would have started something. I was totally open to the idea because Amy is a doll. Well, not so much with the deceiving and now in the comics but she was hot. Admit it. haha

yeah they obviously had something, I think it could have been turned into something really interesting, maybe still, once warren's out of the way

I did like amy's character but I had a bit of a problem with they way one minute she was using her powers to cheat on her homework and turn herself into a rat, then 3 years in a cage not doing anything and suddenly she's really powerful and is all pally with rak. that doesn't make sense...
