My "exciting" experience in purchasing the new BUFFY/ANGEL mag last night

I went to Borders, and knowing exactly what I wanted and which aisle to get it, I made a beeline for the film/tv mags and picked it up. I was "lucky" that there was also no line. The 40-ish woman behind the register read the headline and said "Buffy Season 8-I thought Buffy was dead?". I wasn't in the mood to go into detail, so I simply said "no". She then said she'd be more excited "if Angel came back, on BUFFY".
It was all I could do to not roll my eyes at her. Apparently she stopped watching after "The Gift". Or does she think it's still 2001? I realize I'm being mean, and I'm sorry for that, but I just don't have the patience sometimes. I know I should just be happy she obviously was a fan at some point. At least she wasn't actually being rude, which is the usual reaction I get when I purchase something BUFFY-related.
