Browncoats possibly available soon

Greetings, all! Pretty sure this is where I need to post this...if not, let me know.

I recently completed construction on my very own Browncoat. It's leather, and not based on any pattern. I designed it using Firefly episodes, screencaps, and through reading posts on this and other threads. The buckles are also hand-made by me of brass plate. What that means is this is not a replica, but an interpretation of Mal's Browncoat. Having said that, I will be offering to make these on commission starting relatively soon...maybe the next few weeks. I am asking $300.00, not including shipping. I take cash, etc., but may also be interested in a cash/barter split.

Alright, I figured this out. I can take orders and build these as I get orders. As this is on a lark, please give me time between order and delivery. I have a full-time job, and use my nights and weekends to work on projects. Rest assured that any orders will become the project until completed and mailed. Let me know if anyone is interested.

Also forgot to mention, I will also be offering the buckles alone. Again, they are not exact, but I did model them after screencaps, etc. The price for them will be $30.00 plus shipping. There are also better pictures of them in photobucket. You can email me about those, too.

That's pretty cool. I wish you gobs of success. Living in Western Texas, I'll pass on the Browncoat, in hopes that one day it'll be OK to have a brown swimsuit or something more appropriate for my climate.

Azhea, just about any size. I will build it around the customer, so I will need a few measurements, and I will build from there. My own measurements are 6'1" 42-42" chest. The pattern I made is easy to convert.

After some thought, I decided it might be a good idea to actually put pictures up so you can see what I am talking about. I know there is a picture in the Blue Sun room, but I am going to try to put some here...less clicking that way!

Tristan, I can't see those last pictures, but the pic in the Blue Sun Room is wonderful.
