I remember that show. My mom used to watch it all the time.

Wow. That's a show I had completely forgotten about. Seems I recall there being a bumper sticker campaign by it's loyal fans to save the show. Anyone else remember that ? Said something about Vincent... ?

I don't remember the bumper sticker, but the reason it wouldn't have mentioned the woman is that she, & the series, changed so much from season 2 to season 3; Linda Hamilton decided to stay home with her baby. The first two seasons were a love story betwixt a young woman and a man of human weaknesses & superhuman strength, who kept his secret from the world on the advice of his father (sounds kinda like Smallville). Anyway, the show was so successful that, when Linda Hamilton chose to leave, the producers tried to replace her character. Really can't say whether it was good after that, but it was a different story, & I was disappointed @the change.
Keep the Shiny Side Up . . . (wutzon) Peter Gabriel & Kate Bush, "Don't Give Up", from "Shaking the Tree" -- GORRAM this version is great

My high school crush got me hooked on that show. (I ended up staying with the show longer than with her.)
And yeah, after Catherine (Hamilton's character) was written out, it degenerated. Not as pronounced as Galactica 1980, but more of a Seaquest 2032, or post-Wolfe Andromeda. Just generally not good.
First coupla seasons though, they were awesome.

I swear, it was in the theme of 'Real men.... something....'. I can't remember how it went, but maybe some reference to Vincent. I can't recall.

This was one of the best shows of the decade. I loved Vincent, and his and Catherine's love story was beautifully wrought.
I signed up @ Amazon, thanks for the link.
