Sad day. Our old dog had a catastrophic failure of his spine about midnight so it was a mad rush to the vet's clinic to no avail. Our Bob is gone.

Oh Sister I am so sorry to hear about Bob. I know you did all you could and I know he knew how much you loved him. It is always so hard to say goodbye to a beloved pet. Thoughts are with you and your husband.

Bob was a great dog and we were privileged to know him for more than ten years.
It's finally Friday. Got big storms and lots of rain yesterday…but the weekend
is supposed to be nice.

Glad there was no falling involved w/ the gutter cleaning. One of my least favorite jobs, but one that must be done.
Beautiful weekend here. Sunny and mid 70s both days. Put some miles on the bike, got Sjöfn out for walks and play time, and took her to the park on Sunday for a long walk.
Supposed to hit 79 today and not a cloud in the sky. Of course they are calling for your neck of the woods to send us some rain tomorrow Sister. I am hoping it blows north of us, but who can say.
Hope everyone had a great weekend. Ignore the fact that the day that shall remain nameless is here. Soon it will be gone.

Had so much rain over last week I had to break out the lawn mower and cut the lawn as the grass had grown like crazy. The yard is nice and green though.
Rained for over 12 hours yesterday, but finally stopped around midnight last night and dried up enough by this morning I could ride without issue. Cloudy and cool today and tomorrow, but rain they are saying will hold off until Saturday night or Sunday morning. Hoping for the latter as I need to switch out the head gasket on Lola and adjust the throttle cable on the wife's bike. My Harley could stand a good washing and detailing as well.
Hump Day indeed! Let's hope the rest of the week passes as quickly as the first part!
