Caught it tonight by chance, and against ALL my better judgment...
I LOVED IT.

It's like Forever Knight, Medium, The Greatest American Hero, and Zombieland all rolled into one. Can't wait to see where they go with this one. It has potential to be a lot of fun

Which is good 'cuz half the stuff I watch is prolly getting axed this year...I could use some new blood

Was it on broadcast? I thought it was going to be on Tuesday. Looked interesting, but Tuesday is a crowded night on TV. I'd watch if it was Wed, Thur, Friday.

It's up against SHIELD on Tuesdays, but also repeated on Friday. I watched it last week, and although I liked it quite a bit I will probably watch SHIELD live this week and catch iZombie on Hulu.

Wishy, I didn't think of any of the shows you mentioned. A lot of buzz was comparing it to Veronica Mars, first because it's Rob Thomas, second the criminal investigations and then the voice-over. But I would compare it most closely with Pushing Daisies.

Forever Knight in that she's already trying to figure out how to work with it and not let anyone know and possibly fix herself, Medium in that she has visions, GAH in that she has wacky superpowers she's trying to figure out, and Zombieland for the tongue-in-cheek Zombie atmosphere. I never caught Pushing Daisies because by the time someone I know said it was good, it was cancelled so I just didn't bother...

I'm sure every persons comparisons will vary.

I think you've only missed one episode at this point.

I thought it was okay, but not great. It wants to be "the next Veronica Mars" (and therefore the "next next Buffy") so hard that it hurts.

Mostly, it made me want to go back and re-watch TRU CALLING. Was that REALLY Zach Galafanakis?

omg I loved it too. I was hopeful going in to it that it would capture some Veronica Mars magic and it delivered. It almost felt like the lead actress was trying to pull of Kristen Bell's mannerisms when she was playing Veronica. So many little things matched up really well. Since I loved Veronica Mars I really liked the feel of the show. I'm not entirely sure where they're going with the show, but I'll be back for more that's for sure.

However, I too will be making SHIELD my primary show and I'll be catching the rerun of iZombie on Fridays. At least for now.

It's sooo hard for me to get into new shows. Unless I just catch a funny moment and go looking for more or the promo looks specifically up my alley I usually don't go there, especially with female leads. I'm not a "gal's gal". I usually find other women just obnoxious. Can't fight biology. If I get a chance I'll look it up though, no guarantees...

I CAN say if I see ANOTHER FEMALE CHARACTER WAFFLE BETWEEN TWO MEN AND THEN END UP KNOCKED UP I AM GOING TO SHOOT ME SOME PRODUCERS!!!!

PLEASE ......MAKE IT STOP!
