For anyone who is not up to speed, most of the evidence is in now, and we can pretty much categorically say who was responsible for the shootdown of MH17 and the murder of nearly 300 mostly European civilians - Russia.

The Dutch prosecutor leading the criminal case said earlier this month that a Buk missile may have hit the airliner, although it was "too early to rule out other possibilities".
In reaction to RTL's report, the Dutch Safety Board noted that the link to flight MH17 had to be demonstrated for each piece of evidence, in part because it crashed in a conflict zone.
"The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing and is focusing on many more sources than just the pieces of shrapnel," a statement on its website said.
"Additional material for investigation is welcome for this, but it is important that it be irrefutably demonstrated that there is a relationship between any material and the aeroplane that crashed."

The Dutch seem circumspect at the moment. They seem concerned about the "additional material's" chain of custody. If this was completely conclusive they wouldn't be looking for more evidence.
But, the official report is supposed to be out in October. It's not too long to wait. See you then.

I hope you include Dutch officials in that. They don't seem on board at the moment.

G is a troll. He had his ass handed to him here.... http://www.fireflyfans.net/mthread.aspx?bid=18&tid=51008&p=8 ... where, if he read the linked articles he would have found that his beloved Ukrainian freedom-lovers were duped by a mix of IMF hangers-on, local vulture oligarchs and unsavory Nazisv.2 And he's been on a tear ever since!

And yet, no response to the linked articles - anywhere.

Well done! Like the troll you are.

Back to the OP

Quote:

A Dutch TV channel has provided what it calls “definitive proof” that Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 was shot down by a Russian-made Buk missile system. Using expert analysis of the aircraft remains and fragments of the missile that hit the aircraft, RTL News has come to its conclusion ahead of an official announcement from investigators in October.

HOWEVER

[Official] Investigators responding to RTL’s story said that criminal investigators are still looking into the possibility that a Buk fired from the ground was responsible, but they're also entertaining the possibility that the aircraft was shot down by another aircraft.

Some people (I don't know who they are) picked up some fragments (which they claimed were from the crash site) which looked like BUK missile fragments. The article isn't clear about whether chain of custody was kept. If not kept, that means anyone could bring anything in to the investigation and claim it was from the crash site. It seems a little strange that this piece of evidence would be brought to the investigators at such a late date. But, odder things have happened. The investigators need to do their work.

You lying idiot. It was from KPO's own BBC link.

Which you obviously didn't bother to read or you would have recognized it. Hey, troll - nothing like reading the OT and being prepared to discuss it! not.

Say hi to "g" in the mirror for me.
