It would be marvelous if Firefly joined Disney's Marvel Entertainment as a monthly comic.

Compared to their acting salaries I'm sure you're right, but I think they do well just the same. And just because Nathan is scheduled for eight more cons this year doesn't mean he'll make it to all of them.
Two years ago he cancelled his Dallas appearance at the last minute, but I still went because there were others I wanted to see. When he did make it to Dallas Comic Con last year he (or the con) had gone up considerably on his autograph and photo op fees.
Unless I win the lottery that was probably the last con I'll ever attend, at least for autographs and such. Just can't afford it anymore, and if Nathan got even half of what they were charging he made out okay.

So, do you guys think this is just gonna be a bunch of con humor? Like will I really get it if I don't go to conventions?
For instance I saw Office Space before I ever really worked in an office and thought it was pretty stupid. As soon as I worked in an office I watched it again and loooooved it.

Now that I think of it, these people didn't want to wait in line and then pay $50 for Alan's signature, so they asked while he was on the toilet. He could not escape giving it for free.

Yeah pretty much what I expected. I don't think it's for me. I watch that and go "oh come on this is stupid that would never happen". I mean sure it's fiction so you expect some exaggeration but I can't really imagine anything close to that ever happening. Maybe people who frequent conventions are like "omg I could totally see that happening".

I expect the web series will not be the subtlest humor. Alan raises the middle finger to FOX for cancelling Firefly. Nathan stops him before too late. http://igg.me/at/conman

Did you get the humor in Galaxy Quest? Or Trekkies? Trekkies II?

Never seen any of them. I liked fanboys though. I can totally relate to the hype leading up to Episode I. I got such a bad sunburn waiting in line to buy tickets to the premier. Everyone was so excited. The movie has the perfect ending too. I doubt I'd like it nearly as much if I didn't live through similar stuff.
