Werner Herzog isn't as famous a German as Albert Einstein, but then Einstein didn't film a documentary with his warning about technology.

You're missing the point. We otherwise wouldn't be exchanging views, as we'd never meet. That's totally different than sitting next to your friends or family, at a concert, graduation, or just dinner, ignoring them, so you can post comments about what someone else posted, on their facebook page.

Yes, the internet has huge potential for communication, but most people don't communicate with people who are different, they communicate with people who are the same. They stick with the agreeable and the convenient, and thus they lose the ability to communicate at all.
