Yanno, twenty years ago everyone thought Shatner would've gone first, and he's outliving them all. Genetics is... fascinating.
So Kirk, Uhura, Sulu and Chekov left huh? Not a whole lot left to fly the ship with.

Spent many a happy hour watching Star trek. I intend to spend many more as well.

I still do - they're showing the remasters on one of the Freeview channels over here.
A tru-SF icon. LLAP trending like a Tribble on Viagra and not a bad word to be heard about a talented and well loved human being. No Trek = No Firefly, simple as that (or any other decent space based TV series since)
Go boldly Mr Nimoy, go boldly.
Now, where's that Romulan Ale?

As Surak might have said, "The cause is sufficient." Go ahead and cry; to deny human nature would be illogical - Leonard and Spock both would've seen it as a mark of respect for their passing.
In the words of T'Pau, played with such gravitas by Celia Lovsky: "Live long and prosper, Spock."
He did.

How do you say good bye to a legend...you don't, they're forever. See ya latter Leonard, you're not going anywhere.

Put a dark shadow of sad on my heart.

IIRC he spent some years trying to distance himself from the role, feeling it was not serious acting, and beneath him. Is this correct? Or am I just assuming Galaxy Quest was shadowing instead of foreshadowing?
