Morena is very popular these days, she's appearing in Fox's Gotham, a well put-together show about The Batman's early childhood as Bruce Wayne. She plays the police department's medical examiner and is Jim Gordon's main squeeze. They have good chemistry together and it looks like they plan to keep her around.

Gotham is on FOX TV and Spy and Deadpool are FOX films. This is going to piss off a lot of Browncoats. I checked and found out that Homeland is produced by FOX 21. If ya ask me, (you haven't) FOX is treating her very well.

Only those who are too stubborn to admit that it's all a business that needs to turn a profit. Sure, I'm still pissed about Firefly, but I've watched several shows on FOX since, like Fringe, and now Gotham. If I stopped watching any network that cancelled a show I liked I wouldn't be able to watch anything.

I first heard about it here http://screenrant.com/deadpool-movie-actress-morena-baccarin I tend to get most of my super hero news from SR.

Pretty cool, imo, Morena is a great actress, and I'm totally stoked on the Deadpool movie to begin with. As far as Fox goes, I love their X-Men series. As a Marvel fan. But I totally prefer the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I wish Fox could make nice, and eventually, one day down the road, we could see Hugh Jackman on screen alongside the rest of our Avengers pals.

You know Joss wrote the comic that Last Stand was (loosly) based on?

Good point.

Fringe was a show that Fox supported and it still got the business (they moved that show from Thursday to Friday with the Turk lurking about). And that a show they liked.
