ing brilliant. I have not laughed that hard in a movie theater in ages.
The DVD is already on the top of my must-own list.
I think I laughed hardest when Liz called Shaun on the Bertram Russell quote. "Did you get that off a placemat?" "Guinness Extra Cold." "I won't tell."

Semi-off-subject, I remember distinctly reading an interview from years ago where Joss expressed very, very specifically that Donald Sutherland pissed him off. The guy would rewrite all of his own lines, and this part I remember word for word, "He can't write, he CAN'T write."

^^^ yup, it was during the original Buffy movie. Sutherland basically made a big ass of himself. Which happens when gret big giant movie stars, worse an Actor, don't know when to back off and let people do thier jobs... like direct!

Shaun of the Dead was very funny. I was especially surprised that the zombies were so good for a "British Comedy." 28 Days Later and Dawn of the Dead (remake) just happen to be two of my favorite movies. : )

I know this chain is well and truly dead now, but i thort i'd add to it.
I'm British, and i'm really glad that Americans understood it. Because basically i think its fcking amazing and it's difficult for films in england to be taken seriously (retrospectively) if they flop over the other side of the pond. I've got this on DVD (as it's well old over here) and it sits beside my firefly boxset as my favourite few. It's good to know that i'm not the only one who likes both!

I just hope that the US gets a dvd with as many features as the PAL version. Because that disc has a lot of cool stuff on it.
