I remember watchin' that. It was ...ehh. Noah Wylie. I wrote him off as a hypocritical putz years ago when he said his kids had NEVER watched TV. 
I bet THEY'RE well adjusted...
Kinda tired of all these male "Sherlockish" roles, too, though I see the appeal in pretending a guy could be that observant.

Falling Skies. Internets says 2015 is the last season. I wouldn't know, don't have cable... Not going to until cable companies sort out themselves.

had a cast i was interested in...the earlier movies...eh...pretty dumb stuff...and the TV series is in keeping with that level of dumb and silly and thin...was hoping, with the cast listed that they might take a run at the cool that was Chuck...but yer right..just another Warehouse 13 meets nerdy sherlock...watched the whole 2 hours...and i accounted for how bad a first episode can be...ie Star Trek Next gen...oh my was that a bunch of cardboard cutouts! and yet, it matured to an enjoyable level...so we'll see.. i might check in on it in a few weeks and see if it's been cancelled or not (lol)

I had thought I saw some wimmyns in the Librarians clip.
That Backstrom does look more lead guy-centric, but the lead guy is Galaxy Quest's and Last Mimzy's Rainn Wilson. I will likely check it out.

The thief character seems out of place. Dunno why. At the end, his big take on all that he's seen, and now being allowed on the ' inside ' of the Library, is to openly wise crack on how he'll be able to steal more stuff now.
Really? Are you really gonna go w/ that shallow and cliche'd a character ?

Enjoyed Kane in Leverage, but why does he have the retard haircut in the promo clip? Looks like he brought over the cast from Maxwell and King, which was stuck on cable (TNT).
Lindy Booth was also in W13, so this shouldn't be too much of a stretch. She was interesting in Kick-Ass 2.
I had thought this was going to be stuck on a cable channel, but then caught it a few days ago on a local channel. I couldn't hang with it, maybe it will get interesting later. Didn't really think Noah Wylie was cast well, like he was in er.

Noah Wylie's character really has transformed, and not in a interesting or believable way. He's too brash, too cocky. Even Indiana Jones, with age and all his experience, made it up as he went along. There was at least a tinge of doubt, but this Librarian... I don't know.
The pilot was pretty ridiculous. Over the top, and needlessly so. If that's the tone for the rest of the series, count me out.
Hell, I couldn't make it through the 1st hour, so I guess that answers that question. If I wanna see more WH13, I'll just Netflix it or something.
