Both Alan Tudyk and Jewel Staite wants to go to HawaiiCon

Maybe I should start a kickstarter for me so I can go to Hawaii. Been wanting to go for a decade now. Silly me, I bought a house instead...

Yeah, doing well, but been really busy with my day job. Been working on a year long project for my day job and haven't had time to focus on FFF.NET.

As for HawaiiCon, they had a pretty good turn out this year with some notable actors from Stargate Atlantis and Galactica. Jewel Staite is from Maui, so there's a good chance she might go. We'll see.

Doesn't the Con pay them to show? If Jewel lives on Maui then Alan can stay with her for a few days and save $ that he would have spent of a hotel, and he could also save a few $ flying couch. Alan has been working steady for years, I bet he can afford a 1st class ticket and a hotel on the beach with a bathtub filled with booze and hookers.

Jewel was born there but I think she lives in Vancouver now.

So, why wouldn't they just invite them ?

Alan has a stupid long list of high profile credits, and Jewel is smokin' easy on the eyes, so what's the hold up ?

Seems to me that if either / both inform the Con folk there they'd be willing to make the trip, the organizers would be laying out the red carpet.

Might make for a worthy excuse for me to get to Hawaii.
