Hey Sister! Hope you and the family had a great Thanksgiving.
Had a pretty quiet one here. Got drug out Thursday night for some "early Black Friday" deals (why not just call it Shameless Pursuit of More Holiday Money Thursday and be done w/ it?) and was surprised how dead it was out there. Hopefully it will send a message to greedy retailers and they will stay closed on Thanksgiving so retail folks can stay home with their families. Oh who am I kidding? No way the corporations will give up the opportunity to make a dollar even for a holiday. *sighs*
About done with Christmas gifts. Just a few more to pick up and we will be all set.
I did the rake the lawn thing myself on Saturday Sister. Got it done in pretty near record time then went ahead and cleaned out the gutters again. Got to tackle the flower beds next weekend.

Yup had a good, peaceful T-Day…leaf raking weekend so it's all good.
I get at least a foot-tall stack of catalogs a week this time of year; plus all the buy, buy, BUY hype…
I have managed to avoid all that crap for years…of course, we live pretty far away from any big chain stores so that helps, too.
Did you see where I got a Can-Am Spyder for my b-day? LOVE IT!

Congratulations! How do you like the Spyder? There is a lady in our HOG group who rides a Spyder. She had a Harley, but dumped it bad a few years back and got gun shy of two wheels. Her husband who rides talked her into trying a trike, but she didn't like the feel of the one front / two rear configuration. Then she saw the Spyder w/ 2 in the front and low slung profile. She loves it.
Still riding myself. Had a few warm days last week and yesterday which has made it easier, but I have enough gear to stay warm. So long as it is not raining heavy, snowing, or icy roads I am going to be in the saddle.
Hump Day Eve and Big Suck in the rear view. Now if I could just get around to putting up the Christmas tree.....

LOVE the Spyder! Despite trying five different rides, I could never get the 'counter-steering' thing down…this thing drives like a car…plus it has reverse!! I'm in heaven. Can't wait for spring!

Yeah, that reverse gear will make life easier. Trying to push a 600 lb Harley backwards can be a bit of a chore. I don't mind the counter steering so much, though I remember it being a pain decades ago when I first started riding.
Spring will be here before we know it. Start planning some rides now!
