I stumbled across a FanFilm that's currently in the making.
Browncoats: Independence War.

Anybody got info abouts when it may be expected ?

Looks from the teasers & what-not to be pretty gorram good..

I'm excited about it as well, but I am hoping it is more than the bangs and booms that dominate their trailers.

IIRC, they are in post-production so hopefully it will be out soon.

I've worked indirectly with the project for some time now and seen nothing but the highest production values from start to finish. Will it have a lot of explosions and gunfire? Yes, but the story is about soldiers fighting and civilians trapped at Serenity Valley and from what I've seen from behind the scenes and and publicly shared, it's going to be a fine addition to the Verse. There are some very talented individuals connected with the project.
