For at least 2 years, we can breathe a collective sigh of relief....
Congratulations America!
You have basically ensured that a lame duck will be a lame duck for the next two years and not cause any further damage.
NOW, I go a step further and implore you to vote in Hillary Clinton as the next Democratic President.
We've got a House and Senate stacked full against her first two years now.
Two years after we vote her in, we can keep the house and senate a republican majority.
Two years from then, we can re-elect Hilary.
Two years from now, re-elect a house/senate Republican Majority.
Two years from then vote in our first African American Woman president.
Etc.....

My best guess is that the only thing that will get done in the next few years is the repeal of the ACA.
These wonderful people that were "voted" in to Congress don't give 2 shits about the good people of this country, just keeping their comfy seats. Tell me, what have these guys done over the last 6 years but sit back and collect a paycheck. They have done nothing and will continue to do so.
So this is what "we" have "voted" for.

But yes, by all means you should support Hillary Clinton for President. In fact, according to her website, if you donate more than $500 to her campaign she will come to your home in one of her tight-bottomed pant suits and sit on your face for a spell. I know $500 is half your annual income, but dude, it will be so worth it!
