Great news!!! (But remember - NO neuro-acting pain meds, valium etc ... really. None. See if you can get a magnesium supplement in, since some studies indicates it helps.)

My one friend thought the nurse was digging in her nose when the nurse was only adjusting the nasal cannula. Kept saying sotto voce 'That's disgusting!' (Or, as they say around here, you can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friend's nose.)

HI.
I'm assuming (fingers crossed) no news is good news. Bon/bonne chance.

Great news, Channy, I'm so happy for you...I'll hoist a few to toast his continued improvement.

Merci, mon ami - and don't get excited, that would be the extent of my conversational French.

Dad went home on Saturday *monkey chair dance of joy* The most recent report states that he is adjusting to his required three weeks of inactivity... not well, but he's adjusting. He doesn't remember the two and a half days that he was out of his head, and that's just as well. He wouldn't want to remember how disoriented and childish he was, thanks to the evils of anesthesia.

I want to give another hearty THANK YOU and blessings on everyone who comforted me in my time of need. As I've said before, I believe these threads are as effective as any prayer chain, and they are a deep comfort. It's good to know when you're not alone.

Channain glad to hear he's doing well, those anaesthetics take some time to get out of the system. Good thoughts from the UK for his continued return to health.
