Sydney Muslims launch angry protests over counter-terrorism raids that thwarted alleged beheading plot

Around 200 people gathered outside Lakemba station in Sydney's west last night, well short of the thousands the organisers were hoping for.
The group heard claims of police brutality and political hysteria, and the speakers included children who said they witnessed one of the raids. One said he and his mother were assaulted.
The crowd was calm and ordered but it was angry at what one demonstrator called "the politicisation of security".
"We are not here to disrupt security. Muslims are as much concerned about security and peace as anyone else but at the same time we are not fools," Uthman Badar from Islamic group Hizb ut-Tahrir said.
"We are not fools to be fooled by spin and propaganda."
Organisers say similar protests will be held in coming weeks.

Iranian Youth Behind 'Happy' Video Sentenced
Six young Iranian men and women videotaped dancing to Pharrell Williams' "Happy" and the homemade video's director have been sentenced to suspended jail terms and lashes, their lawyer said Friday.
The Iranians' case attracted international attention when they were detained in May for participating in a production deemed indecent by hard-liners in Iran. The video showed the men and women, none of whom wore obligatory headscarves, dancing together in sunglasses and silly clothes on Tehran rooftops and alleyways.
Lawyer Farshid Rofugaran said the seven received suspended sentences of six months in jail and 91 lashes each. He said the suspended jail term was punishment for acting in the video and the lashes for ignoring Islamic norms.
The suspended sentences mean that verdicts against the defendants won't be carried out unless they commit crimes and are found guilty in the next three years.
"My clients did act in a video and their actions are contrary to religious requirements but are not crimes to deserve legal punishment. Saying prayers is a religious obligation in Islam but no one gets jail terms for not saying prayers," he told The Associated Press on Friday.

What kind of rage must exist among some Muslims in Australia to cause them to plot a mass jihad to behead innocent civilians, as we learned this morning?
Well we get a hint of that rage in this very disturbing video from a Kentucky Fried Chicken in Sydney, Australia.
A customer comes in, not realizing that at this particular location, KFC has insanely appeased the local Muslims and allows them to not serve bacon.
So the customer orders bacon on her sandwich, as millions of people do in KFC, McDonalds and others all over the world every day.
The video picks up after a worker has angrily told her she can’t have bacon, and she dares to question why. The manager starts “explaining” about the absurd Sharia Law restriction against bacon, when the same worker literally loses his mind with rage at the infidel who dared to mention the evil B-word.
