"Officer Wilson has no ' hands up, don't shoot ' campaign being run for him."

In point of fact, Officer Wilson's supporters have raised well over $150,000, and counting, for his defense fund.

Brown's supporters have raised approx $130,000 for his memorial fund.

Oh, to hell with it, I'm too tired!

Officer Wilson has no ' hands up, don't shoot ' campaign being run for him.

All he has are the facts.

Facts often don't sell too well these days, unfortunately.

Or have you gone out of your way to portray him as a bully and a thug, even going so far as to insist that there cannot even be a debate about what (or who) is seen on the videotape from the store?

No need to go out of my way. The video clearly shows Brown acted exactly like a bully and a thug. And it's not going out of my way in the least to state clearly that the video shows what it shows.

Are you going to debate the Ray Rice video too ? Please, by all means, tell us all that he was defending himself against a vicious , angry woman.

Go for it.

$150,000 potential legal defense fund vs $130,000 memorial fund?

Apples & oranges.

It's not a contest. The one who raised the most $ isn't determined the " winner ", or right by some holy fiat.

Boy are you desperate!

I posted the fact that both have supporters, and no one can say that Wilson is without, despite the fact he shot an unarmed man for no apparent reason, he has his supporters.

Brown, no matter his crime, shoplifting cigarillos or jaywalking, should have been fined or arrested, but shot to death is, without a doubt, one of the most despicable acts of violence in the U.S.

In New York a man was killed by an illegal choke hold for merely selling loose cigarettes, the most that he deserved was a fine or, at the most, arrest. The man paid with his life.

At no time did I compare the fundraising to a contest. Nor should it be, but Wilson is not the victim here. But he continues to hide, a la OJ Simpson hiding from the law and justice.

The Latest:

A new witness has stated that he saw Brown hold his hands up and say "Ok, ok, ok,ok ok, ok." But Wilson just continued to shoot. (as reported by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch).

How so ? I have no dog in this fight, so to say.

You don't know that Brown was shot " for no apparent reason ". If that's the case, then Wilson should face charges. If he was defending himself , then yes, that is a reason. Cops don't generally go around offing 18 yr olds, in broad day light, for no apparent reason.

Naw, not if he went after the cop, and the cop was defending himself. A far more despicable act of violence can easily be found.

Accounts I heard was that there was no illegal choke hold. Another case where a large man got animated and belligerent w/ the cops who were left with no other choice but to subdue him.

Hiding from street justice ? I don't see how anyone can blame him for that. Especially if he did nothing wrong. But if he didn't, then he'll face the music, in court, not by a group of folks who want to lynch him in the town square.

A "new" witness ? The case is how old and just now, another witness is emerging ? After all the politics and vitriol, I'd be suspect.

People sometimes lie. People with an agenda. A USC football player , a team captain, claimed he injured his ankles by jumping 2 stories to save his drowning nephew , in the pool below. The kid's mother, the brother of the football player, went public to thank the football player for saving her son's life. They both were lying. There was no pool rescue attempt. There WAS , however, a robbery attempt in an apartment building, and the suspect matched the description of the football player very closely.

Yes, I do. Wilson has been sequestered by the local police, both he and his police chief (who was caught in a lie) have offered nothing by way of explanation or stating the circumstances leading up to the fatal overkill. Wilson has not surrendered himself to the proper authorities and given his side of the story as to why he would shoot an unarmed young man like a dirty dog in broad daylight. Exactly my point! No one knows why except him and a now dead victim.

Remember, the chief of police said that Wilson was NOT aware of the so-called robbery, at the time of the shooting.

There has NOT been one account of an attempted assault on Wilson, if so, who made that statement and where is he/she now.

It was determined by the Medical Examiner that it was a homicide by choke or asphyxiation.

No street justice, just your everyday garden variety justice with REAL law enforcement and a REAL investigation. That's what the people, the good people, of Ferguson demanded.

He was interviewed by the FBI and just recently submitted his story to the press.

Yes, people do lie.

No, you don't. You're placing the entire weight of this case on the testimony of one unnamed witness. You do NOT know what happened.

And the police chief ? He's lied in YOUR eyes, maybe, but that's not been established as fact. There's a lot of confusion over the specifics of this case, why thing were done, why weren't they done, and who knew what at what specific time. But as for the facts of what took place, we know very little at this time.

The busted eye socket report doesn't count ? Even if not " broken ", there still was a report that the officer was injured. That doesn't happen in the scenario where he shoots an unarmed citizen from a distance. Where's the photographs of his injured eye ? I don't know. I too would like to see if it exists, and if he was indeed injured. But don't say there's been NO reports of any assault. Just none confirmed.

The guy was doing something illegal and resisted arrest. HE is the one who initiated the physical altercation, by refusing to cooperate, not the cops. I had heard there was no illegal choke hold, but the examiner report finds otherwise. Per regulations, the choke hold may have not been 'illegal', but it still resulted in his death. He didn't need to resist to the degree he did, nor did he deserve to die.

I stated facts, not fiction.

Fact: An unarmed teen was shot by a police officer
Fact: There has been no official report released stating why
Fact: Eyewitnesses have come forward and given statements as to what they saw
Fact: Those eyewitnesses statements were practically all the same
Fact: Not one of those eyewitnesses stated that the officer was being assaulted
Fact: The police chief lied about several requests for the release of the video of the robbery
Fact: Wilson has been in hiding since the murder (shooting) occurred
Fact: No charges have been levied against Wilson for excessive use of force
Fact: Cops don't generally go around offing 18 yr olds, in broad day light, for no apparent reason.
Fact: If a crime was committed, then why isn't Brown's friend arrested? He admitted to the robbery
Fact: Where is the police report of the robbery?
Fact: Was Wilson ever treated for his injuries?
Fact: If so, where?
Fact: Why is he hiding?

If this were a good shoot, as cops say, then he would be standing tall and proud saying Yes, I shot him. I shot in defense of my life. Just doing my job to protect the innocent citizens of Ferguson from this menace to society, this animal who deserved to die. Yes, I shot him down.

The burning question is: Why?

I don't know if those first two are true.

As for Wilson being in 'hiding' ? So what ? Is there an BOLO issued for him ? The cops know how he can be reached, which is really all that matters, isn't it ?
