Didn't know that. So is this more like Highlander?

No. I've already said it twice. It's most like New Amsterdam.
Forever Knight was about a 700 year old vampire trying to atone for his evil ways.
Highlander was about a man who had to kill others to remain the "Only One."
Both New Amsterdam and Forever are about a man who cannot die. Well, he can, but he always (so far) comes back to life.

I guess if you want to make this a discussion on Forever Knight that is okay, but if it is about the new show Forever then stop talking about vampires. The central character in Forever is not a vampire, and while he's not sure whether his condition is a curse or a blessing, he doesn't have any dark past to atone for.

Man.
Can't die.
Like Unbreakable?
Or cursed?
if these are spoilerish, it's OK if you don't answer.

I don't know, since I've only seen the first episode. He doesn't know but wants to find out. He has an friend/assistant, a man he's known for many years, and they both are trying to discover the answer. His friend ages but he doesn't, no matter how many times he's died. Judd Hirsch plays the friend.

No, they offered the pilot on Hulu a week or so ago, not sure if it is still there. It will air on ABC on Monday, Sept. 22 at 10pm Eastern, then the second episode will be the following night at 10 following SHIELD. The move is to make way for Castle which will return the following week.

Sweet. Thanks.

Times sure have changed. The general rule used to be that no network would promote or allow promotion of another network's shows. I just saw a commercial for "Forever" on Syfy during their repeat of last week's "Haven." I naturally assumed that meant "Forever" must be produced by Universal, which is the parent company of Syfy and NBC. But "Forever" is an ABC show produced by Warner Brothers.
