In fact, the enrollment column needs to grow by 3 lines, while the goal column needs to shrink by 1.24 . Somehow, FOX accidentally misrepresented a difference of 1 million, and turned it into 4 milion.

Instead of showing enrollment to be 15% behind, FOX showed it to be 63% behind.

OOPS!

Folks posting graphs often cut off the bottom if the difference isn't all that great, mostly for formatting reasons.

Here's a graph from the Washington Post of labor statistics. Note the lowest figure shows 11 million persons and the highest 18 million.

Does that somehow erase FOX's error? Does it change the FACT that no right whinger here lambasted FOX for its mistake they way they lambasted CNN? Do you have a point except to derail attention from the FACT that you were wrong, once again?

So, to recap -

@ right whingers find mistakes to be fuel for snark only when they're made by a source NOT FOX
@ right whingers can't even find obvious mistakes when made by FOX
@ when those mistakes are pointed out, right whingers like greezer either find excuses (that turn out to be wrong) or minimize the mistake, like little crappy

He was wrong because he claimed it was a graphing technique. According to FOX, it wasn't.
