I enjoyed it. I wasn't exactly a huge fan, and there are massive story lines which I never caught up to, but it was still something I could watch , at almost any given part of the series, and stay tuned in.

Caught an episode last night, and man... good stuff.

Of course, seeing Claudia and Ben also made me long for Farscape even more...

*sigh*

Is that the one with Talc or whoever?
Stargate? I did like the movie.

A casual fan here, but I did enjoy the show.
I do wish they would make the third dvd movie, but that ain't gonna happen.
Especially with the planned movie reboot.

Movie reboot ? News to me. Not sure why there needs to be this , though I suppose ... I don't know. James Spader has suddenly morphed into an old bald guy, it's really a struggle to watch him as a young Daniel Jackson. Might be time for a reboot, I suppose. Hell, that seems to be the trend these days, just remake movies over and over.

If ONLY there were some unique, fresh and interesting new Sci-Fi stories out there suitable for t.v. or the big screen.

Studios don't want to take a chance on an unknown property, they'd rather play it safe with what they assume is an established fan base.

Not barking at you, but what the HELL is Guardians of the Galaxy ? I swear, I've never even heard of THAT before, and it gets right to the big screen.

We know what the suits @ FOX did to our BDHs, and I swear by Kaylee's pretty little paracel, that had there been a half decent job in promoting the BDM, we'd have at LEAST gotten our trilogy.

Established fan base...my muscular buttocks !

Guardians is part of the Marvel Universe, so it really does have an established fanbase.
It's just that many of them haven't heard of it. (like me )

I never was all that into comic books. Sure, I read a few, when I was a kid, but in today's world, the comic book genre seems to be ever shrinking. I mean, who READS any more ?

I know. Geeks. Nerds. But over all, outside of them, how many in the general public had ever even HEARD of Guardians ?

I hope it does well. I'll certainly give a opening week viewing, simply because of who's in it. But I'm a bit leery too. The trailers don't fully convince me. It could go either way.

Teal'c. And that's O'Neill with TWO "L's"...

I'm sorely missing those series. Caught myself thinking about buying "Stargate: Atlantis" on iTunes about a week ago. Just expensive right now. I own the whole SG:1 series on DVD. It's a big collection. :)
