I am planning to post where the ship is and how much time it takes to travel.

Itinerary for Pilot Serenity.
Mid-July 2517, 6 Years after the Battle of Serenity Valley. 2-day episode.
Persephone (Protostar Lux in Core), drop off Inara.
Carrier Salvage wreck. Around 0800-0900.
Wreck to Persephone. Around noon. Planned to stay til 1500, but abrupt departure sooner.
Persephone to Whitefall (moon of Athens, in Georgia system). Minimum 29Au distance, about 19-21 hours travel. Book on Whitefall says he's on board 2 days.
Leave Whitefall, head for Boros (also in Georgia system)?
Whitefall to Boros would be 7.5Au-10.45Au, taking 10-13 hours.

Itinerary for Train Job.
Mid-July 2517, a few days (85+ hours) after Pilot Serenity, 6 Year Anniversary of Unification Day - likely the date of Announced Alliance Domination.
Episode lasts about 4 days.
U-Day Bar, on St. Lucious, a moon of Beylix (on Protostar Penglai in Kalidasa - this is about 150Au from Boros, around 75 hours of travel). In the sky are 3 worlds and a ringed body.
To Niska's Skyplex orbiting Ezra. (also about 75 hours of travel from St. Lucious.)
On Ezra (Georgia system), from Hancock to Paradiso.
The Hands of Blue state they came 86 Million miles to Ezra. One Au is 92 million. This would be Regina or it's moon Alexandria. This distance would be covered in under 4 hours at Serenity's maximum acceleration rate, and Alliance ships may be quicker. Boros is the next nearest, and would make sense since Serenity was supposed to head there in accordance with Dobson's signal, but it is 1.125Au away at minimum distance, therefore too far to be where they came from with such a precisely stated distance.

Itinerary for Bushwhacked.
Mid-September 2517.
Scavenged ship had been traveling from Bernadette (Core) to Newhall (around Protostar Penglai) in Kalidasa system. Likely location is outside Core, near Red Sun. (far from Georgia or Blue Sun).
The reason this episode is thought to be much later than The Train Job is due to Inara's statements about the time she has been aboard. In TTJ Inara tells Book "8 months" and in Bushwhacked Inara corrects the Alliance Officer's "One year" with her "in a few weeks." Otherwise most references assume a week in between episodes.

Itinerary for Ep 4 Shindig.
Mid-late September 2517.
Santos (around Protostar Qin Shi Huang in Core). Day one. Likely 25Au or more from Scavenged ship in Bushwhacked, or 20 hours worth of travel.
Santos to Persephone, closest distance is 13.6Au, or about 13-15 hours travel time at Serenity's max accel/decel.
Persephone. Arrives 10am local time, day after Santos.
Day two. Shindig.
Day three. Duel.
Day four, smuggling cargo to Jaingyin (Red Sun).

Jaingyin. Arrive 3 weeks after Persephone in Shindig.
Race to Alliance ship for Medical Assistance for Book. Instead of Greenleaf, which would have been 10 hours trip.
Back on Jaingyin (Red Sun). The night (most have retired for the night) following the arrival in daytime.
