We do have a few rules and regulations that must be met in order to be considered as a member, including uniform requirements and weapons requirements. These will be outlined below. We are not trying to keep people out, but we do want to present a united, uniform Battalion of Independent soldiers, and one of the best ways to do this is to look the same.

Firsties!

Big Suck and summer is here. You know I don't even mind the heat & humidity. Any day in the saddle is a good day.

H.O.G. event went well Saturday Sister. Good turn out, good food grilled up, biker games were a lot of fun, and the weather was sunny and warm without being too hot. Lots of skilled riders in our ranks showing off their fine control in the barrel roll and slow race. All in all a good time. Ice cream run later in the day so we put some miles on the bikes.

Hump Day EVE! Another 'blister' of a day…getting lots done in the early, early mornings because by 11 a.m. it's too stink in HOT out there. I am yearning for a plunge pool just to 'water buffalo' in on these hot and humid days.

You know a pool to jump in to cool off is not a bad idea. Maybe one of those cheap inflatable kiddie deals that you can sit in the shade, fill it, fall into it to cool off, then hop out and back to work. May have to look into that.

Summer is settling in here too. 95 today with 45% humidity. Tomorrow is supposed to be 100 with 50% humidity. Still, I love the heat because it means I can ride!

Stay cool out there Sister. Think of me this afternoon cause I have to cut the lawn and it will be toasty. LOL

Hey…Browncoat1; hope you didn't melt mowing the lawn!! Our 'yard boy' is on vacation until the weekend so things are getting quite 'weedy' here if you need another place to mow..heh.
I'd do that kiddie pool in a second…if it weren't for a certain Rottweiler who lives to eat plastic. Hmmmm…maybe in the front yard?…Nope, I'd be way too embarrassed!!

Didn't melt, but looked like someone had dumped a bucket of water on me. Nothing a cool shower couldn't cure. I'd offer to mow your lawn, but TN might be a bit of a commute.

To the Special Hell with embarassment! You have to improvise when it gets this hot outside. LOL

..yeah, but the neighbors might call the purple bellies and I'd be bound by law! Heh.
It's another hot one here; got the garden watered yesterday and had a great dinner at a new Mexican restaurant; too many Margaritas, though…if there is such a thing!!

Rained heavy here last night so no need to water the garden. ;) Unfortunately it also means the grass is growing like crazy. Ugh. Supposed to be good chance of rain Saturday and Sunday so no riding most likely. Not cool. They are calling for the temp to drop into the 80s though, so that is an upside to the rain I suppose.

Got a new seat for the bike. The standard seat is great for short trips, but a bit less than "comfortable" for longer road trips. Had two so far and I was a bit saddle sore by the end of each. Hopefully this new Sundowner will eliminate that issue.
