You have a single wireless keyboard you can take in to whatever room you want to where there is a screen and do work/entertainment/whatever. You could get screens of whatever size you want, they all get the computer feed - your computer is essentially in every room that you have a screen. Much like we do now when we change inputs for DVD and Cable, we would just have another input option for Computer.
Screens themselves are pretty cheap - you could have a giant Movie screen and smaller ones for computing and one computing power box with terrabytes of storage locally and one keyboard, all for cheaper than we do now.
George Orwell fortold all of this.
Remember kids, that exact same co-axial cable that has brought MTV into your house since 1983 is the exact same cable that allows 1080 video-conference transmission in real-time today.
Ask yourself, especially in our continued disposable economy, if you can think of or prove of a single instance that anything in America had been made with that much foresight?

Question: how much detail is too much detail?
I was watching The Living Daylights today on Blu Ray and I found myself distracted from time to time by facial wrinkles & skin anomalies not previously visible on DVD...

I have the Wizard of Oz in blue ray and the background looks somewhat like stage props. It's kind of cool. like watching a play.
