No one has mentioned the old Hanna-Barbera toons: Deputy Dawg, Quick-draw McGraw, Yogi Bear, Augie Doggie. How about Beanie and Cecil? Astroboy, the original Anime.

This is bringing back so many memories... and until I started the list I didn't think I had watched that much tv as a child!

My Little Pony (the first show I ever insisted on taping - and I was about 4 at the time!)

Concerning that list of race cartoons for Ebo, it is notable that while they were different shows, they shared quite a few characters between them. My favorite was the mad scientist inventor RegUS PatOff...

But what shows impressed or influenced a young Real Me? Even the Real Me was young once...

As a kid in the 60's, I was also a nut for the space program. I was there watching every moon landing, even after they got sort of boring.

Yes, the Real Me is old, but not quite ancient (though I can see it from here).

I looooooooooved Darkwing Duck. Although I really wasn't that young when I watched it...but I was young-er.

Let me reach back further...I loved Punky Brewster. And Rainbow Bright. And Jem! Ah to be truly outrageous.

I think my favorites are the result of no cable TV.
I watched Mr Peppermint when I was really little. It's not a cartoon but kinda of a Captain Kangaroo type of show. I dunno if anyone outside Texas ever saw it, but it always stands out in my mind.
Anyway, actual cartoons:
HannaBarbera and Loony Toons
Scooby Doo-(pre Scrappy-doo *shudder*)
Road Runner- I just kept waiting for the coyote to give up. Dumb dog! :/
G-Force - wish they still showed this
Robotech- last one I would consider as in my childhood and I still like this one

Now, I like Rolie Polie Olie. The music reminds me of cartoons from the 30's-40's, but the images are all CGI. I like the contrast.

Definitely Ultraman. Hiata was HOT, with his beta capsule. And Speed Racer (I liked his brother, Racer X).
