Funny thing was I was posting here to let folks know you may be joining the RP briefly - so Hawk can join up with the crew of the Rubicon.

capn ... as posted in the Dragonfly thread it may not be possible to have my PC join up this early in the timeline ... Dragonfly is still in the future I beleive?

I'd rather wait and intro Hawk later when we get the Dragonfly thread going

OR at best a we can do sidescene in GR episode 22b: The Obligatory Barroom Brawl Thread in which Hawk makes an impression on his future shipmates ... something about saving an ass or two in a fight and then piloting a decrepit air vehicle to a safer spot (or variation thereof) and then months later the cast of dozens meets up in Dragonfly: Procrustean Karma

*sigh* thanks, Maniac. I was thinking that the docs were just taking a look around, making sure the new valve is doing what it's supposed to, and the bypass is, well, bypassing. Squee: I've been looking for you on AIM for a while to compliment you on something you posted a week back. I wish I could remember what it was now... Well, whatever it was, keep it up! Maybe the Merz/Damon interchange, or the mom flashback...

Inaraesque: I did think of some possible Jayne/Inara dialogue - Inara hasn't received her message from Simon yet, and Jayne was the last to have the recorder.

CapnRahn: I'll have Jayne working for another 15 minutes before the contraption is finished. Did Merz mention Mal is going to force everyone to relax a little tonight?

StJ: Whew - we have a seroius continunity error ... Any sugestions?

I have something in mind, but would like some input.

With at in mind, here is the situation:
Around 8PM of the night before the drop, Inara left her client {Thorne} asleep and went down to the Infirmary to check on River. This was done so the new Inara player {Inaraesque} could get into posting. Which was accepted the she would soon return to Thorne's side in her shuttle.

Geezer misinterpeted that as Inara's move was in the next morning and posted as such - thus inadvertenly 'warping' the RP past the planned 'PreDrop party' that was planned. Perhaps we can shift the PDP to a Post-Drop Party?

I do not exactly disagree with this warping - so if any have any ideas or concerns, please put 'em forth.

Concerning the time error - We can fix it in 'post' {writing the RP up as a coherent story fanfic} whichever way we decide to go.

OR we could simply ask Geezer to redirect his post timing

As to Merz letting everyone know Mal is "forcing everyone to relax" it is coming in Debs and My next post - coming soon!

Arghh! It's not morning yet? Are we going to stay in this same evening forever? Seems almost as long as a day at work. I can't leave you folks alone for a minute...Err, make that a month.

Thorne is insulted that anyone could possibly think he would be asleep by 8:00pm while in the company of one such as Inara.

Anyway...I'll modify my post to remove any suggestion it's morning.
