Also, insulin pumps and automatic implanted defibrillators.

If one man could get hold of all the codes for ten minutes, imaging what damage he could do.

We need a new Agency. This out of the FBI, CIA & NSA's league.

Man who hacked into his insulin pump speaks with Medtronic officials

I had to search to retrieve the specifics but 'man hacked insulin pump' yielded all sorts of hits on hacking medical devices, including one that lists itself as a black hat site. (No, I didn't go there.)

Also - GIBIRU is back. Does anyone have any info it's been hacked and is not secure?

I completely agree.

BUT

I think many people are unaware/ disinterested in corporate data collection. Or even government spying. If you gave them an easy work-around they might use it - or maybe not. The 'young' folk at work - those in their early 30s and younger - seem completely comfortable with smart-phone tracking, corporate profiling, and even NSA spying. (People elsewhere - like in Europe - seem not quite so entranced.)

Raising awareness in the US may be an uphill battle.
