FRIDAY…big storms and days of rain ahead…after all the work I did yesterday getting most of my vegetable garden in; I think I'll sit back and be lazy this weekend. If hail kills my tomato plants I WILL be very pissed off!
Perhaps a Firefly DVD marathon will be just the thing!

So far surviving the rain storms just fine! Doing more planting today; even though they;re calling for more rain later; just means I don't have to buy the water.

Hot and humid here, but I will take that over damp, cold. Getting in lots of riding and it sure makes work far more tolerable if I can ride in and home w/ my favorite therapist.
They were calling for a slight chance of thunderstorms here today, but looks like that has dropped to nearly zero chance since the weather shifted again.
I am coming to the sad conclusion that D*C may not be in the cards for me again this year. With the wife having her big national pageant in July in Las Vegas, the expense to get us out there and for me to get a hotel for 3 days our vacation budget will be shot. She is Mrs Virginia United States and it has been a long time coming, so I guess the loss of not being at D*C and seeing my 76th family is offset by the fact that Autumn is realizing one of her long time goals / dreams. There is always next year I suppose. *sighs*

Friday EVE!! And we have a very welcome break in the hot and humid weather!! Got rain last night, too so all is well with me…and I hope all of you as well!

Tuesday's ride got damp thanks to slow moving / texting drivers and a summer thunderstorm that brought both me and the bike an unexpected bath. LOL Soaked to the bone by the time I got in the driveway, but what are you going to do?
Rode today since the rain is not supposed to start until around 7pm or so. Any time in the saddle is good time.
Hump Day is behind us, which means it is Friday Eve! Weekend isn't far off and today should be a relatively calm day here at work. Keep your fingers crossed.
