WOW…we had narrow escapes from tornados last evening and night! BIG storms, Hope everyone is safe. Weather pukes are predicting MORE nasty storms this afternoon and evening. As I told my husband, I have picked out plans for a new house if this one gets blown away.
Sorry about the 'mower drama', Browncoat1; several years ago we traded in a full-on tractor for a professional model zero turn mower that cuts our 7-acre 'yard' in less than half the time.
Batten down the hatches for more storms!

Got a soggy start to hump day; but everything looks so GREEN this morning! Of course, it doesn't look like the field or yards have ever been mowed. Amazing what some water will do.

Been raining here since mid day Monday. Heavy rain this morning and supposed to have thunderstorms moving in shortly that will last most of the night. Calling for heavy rains, but we'll see as the weatherman tends to be a bit overdramtic. Hopefully the rain will stop by mid day tomorrow as they are predicting. Sure would be nice to get back in the saddle.
Hope everyone is having a good Hump Day. For those in the areas getting storms and tornados, keep your heads down and stay dry.

Season Finale of Vikings was awesome! A bit saddened the season is over already. It is a LONG time until next February when it comes back again. At least I have Game of Thrones, but I believe that only has five more episodes before the season is over. *sigh*
Great weather this weekend. Got in a lot of riding. Went to the H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group) meeting w/ a friend from work on Saturday. Kind of on the fence about joining. All of the riders in the local chapter, with the exception of 2 (out of 180 members) are older than me. While that is not a huge problem, it does present a bit of a disconnect. I am also a bit put off by the fact that the majority are Harley snobs and they won't allow riders who own something other than an HD to even attend events. They do have a lot of fun, plan lots of rides, cookouts, and do charity work that I am interested in, but the elitist attitude really turns me off.
Sunny this morning so I rode. 30% chance of rain this afternoon, but the siren song of the road was too strong to resist this morning.

Two's day….
I agree the season finale of Vikings was AWESOME!! But now the long wait begins.
Browncoat1…my husband felt the same about HOG; and both the 'disconnect' and the other things. He was kind of 'shut out' on a ride in Colorado when he rode his Vincent. He's still got Harleys…and literally hundreds of other bikes so he doesn't get to ride as much as he'd like. Too bad, as the weather has been perfect for it.

I am going to give HOG a try for one year Sister to see how it goes. The guy who invited me to go, a friend from work, is insistent that this chapter is a great group that does charity work. We'll see. I will sign up the end of the month prior to the June meeting and see how it goes.
Weather here has been pretty good. Sunny and warm today and supposed to get up into the 90s the rest of the week. Making for some great riding weather. Itching for a rally / long ride to sink my teeth into.

It has been blistering HOT in TN this week…trying to get my garden in. I have about two hours each morning before the sun gets too high and I'm baking out there. I would like several more days of Spring weather, please…before Summer moves in and plops its sweaty ass down for good.
